We often get asked about a shower curtain rod for the Malibu Broad 60" or 66" - two wall alcove bathtub. We didn't use to have a good answer until a recent designer customer who purchased the Broad Tub (Roberta - from PRIME1 Design) used a custom rod manufacturer from Etsy. Although we cannot personally vouch for the Etsy store ( Stelmo2002 )- the large amount of positive reviews indicates this could be a very good option for a shower curtain rod. Secondarily, dealing with finish colors can be extremely challenging but it appears the Stelmo2002 Etsy store does color matching (although we would advise sending them photos of your trim finish). PRIME1 Design asked the Etsy store for a custom shower rod curve sweep to match that of our Malibu Broad bathtub making for a very elegant shower curtain rod installation that really enhances the overall bathroom renovation. We hope our recommendation is helpful as we understand how challenging it can be to undertake a big bathroom project with many details.
